Phung has two beloved dogs—Gin, a Vietnamese mixed Spaniel, and Lap, a Dachshund. The three of them made the journey together from Vietnam to the United States. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
She earned her BA in Language from Da Nang Architecture University in 2019, graduating as an English interpreter and translator. A professional dog groomer as well, Phung is currently attending the College of DuPage to complete her pre-veterinary coursework, to become a veterinarian one day.
Having grown up with dogs her entire life, Phung considers them her soulmates and true family members. Her desire to continually learn and improve her ability to care for animals is what brought her to LVH, where she hopes to gain hands-on experience and expand her knowledge. Phung joined the Lombard Veterinary Hospital team in November 2025.
She is especially drawn to LVH because it is an AAHA-accredited, family-owned hospital—values that resonate with her, as she also owns a family pet business. Phung believes wholeheartedly in LVH’s mission, “Your family is my family,” and is dedicated to helping provide the best care possible to every patient.
