Dr. Kristine Witte

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kristine Witte joined the team in March of 2026. She lives with her boyfriend and their wonderful rescue dog, Dingus. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, thrifting and antiquing, and collecting, especially Oscar Mayer Wienermobile memorabilia, food-shaped candles, and uniquely themed Monopoly sets that she and her boyfriend enjoy together.

Dr. Witte earned her cosmetology license from John Amico School of Hair Design in 2011, which she still holds today. She later pursued her passion for science, earning her Associate’s degree in General Math and Science from Prairie State College in 2018, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2025.

After high school, Dr. Witte worked as a hairdresser for several years while volunteering at a local animal shelter. Through that experience, she witnessed the powerful human-animal bond, which inspired her to return to school and pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

She values being part of a team that is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to patients while supporting clients and the community. At LVH, she believes everyone is treated like family.
