What is Nutrition?

The process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. At LVH we are dedicated to staying current in their ever-evolving field of animal nutrition and wellness to ensure that our animals receive the highest standard of care. We have a number of our team members becoming certified in Nutrition Case Management where they can use their knowledge to create individualized nutrition plans for your pets.

The Power of Nutrition in Animal Wellness.

Nutrition serves as the cornerstone of overall health and well-being in animals. Just like in humans, a balanced diet plays a vital role in supporting optimal growth, development, and longevity in our animal companions. By providing the right nutrients in the right amounts, we can empower animals to thrive and live their best lives.

How Can We Help?

To ensure a pet's diet is appropriate and beneficial, gather detailed information about their medical history, dietary needs, and any social or environmental factors that influence their eating habits. Assess the pet's body condition score, weight trend, caloric intake dietary preferences, and relevant biomarkers. We will create custom dietary and nutrition plans that include regular progress checks. To monitor the pet's progress by setting objective goals and continually assessing their nutritional status, health outcomes, and quality of life. The goal is to improve the pet's quality of life and longevity while preventing diseases and illnesses associated with unbalanced nutrition.
