We have participated in school events to help teach students about the Veterinary Industry and what it means to help care for animals. In the past, we have been invited to Manor Hill Elementary School to talk to classes about Veterinarians and what they do. Students were shown how to bandage Duke, our doll Golden Retriever. They even had the chance to bandage his other legs.
We have also visited St. Paul Lutheran Church's Daycare to participate in their Community Helpers Event. We taught the kids about what it means to us to be local community helpers. Our staff was able to provide hands-on experiences by teaching about the Veterinary Industry and what it means to help pets of all shapes and sizes. We also had staff bring snakes and other scaley critters for the kids to see up close and personal.
