Weather Updates at Lombard Veterinary Hospital

Update: Tuesday, July 28th at 5:00 AM

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the storms that moved through Lombard yesterday afternoon.

As of 5:00 A.M. this morning, we are still operating on emergency generators. Overnight, ComEd shared that they expect to restore power to approximately 80% of affected customers by Wednesday, July 29.

As we mentioned in yesterday's message, our priority is to continue providing the high-quality veterinary care you and your pets have come to expect from us. While we remain open for appointments, medication refills, and to answer any questions you may have about your pet's health, we are operating with limited capabilities due to the widespread storm damage in the surrounding area.

If you have an appointment scheduled for today or tomorrow and would prefer to reschedule, please give us a call or send us an email. Our team will be happy to help you find a new appointment time that works for you.

We also want to reassure you that all patients currently boarding with us or receiving other services continue to receive the highest level of veterinary care. The health, safety, and comfort of every pet in our care remain our top priorities.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as our community recovers from yesterday's storms.

Severe Storm Update - July 27th

Dear Valued Clients,

Due to a power outage caused by the recent storm this afternoon, Lombard Veterinary Hospital is currently operating under limited services. While our backup generators are running, we are experiencing delays with drawing vaccines, filling prescriptions, and conducting exams.

If you have an appointment scheduled for today, we are still available to see you under these limited conditions. Alternatively, we are happy to help you reschedule for another day that fits your schedule.

If you currently have a pet here at the hospital for boarding, or other services, please be assured that they are safe and continuing to receive the highest level of care.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to maintain the quality of care you expect from us. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by phone at (630) 627-7090 or by email at [email protected].
