Dr. Jessa Ovitt

Associate Veterinarian


Dr. Jessa Ovitt graduated with the highest honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Before this, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences, also at U of I. Among Dr. Ovitt's special interests are non-surgical management of cruciate disease, therapy laser, integrative medicine, dermatology, infectious diseases, and client education. In addition to small animal practice, she has worked in shelter medicine and public health. When not at work, Dr. Ovitt stays busy with her family of 5. She and her husband just celebrated 25 years of marriage and they are busy raising 3 children, the oldest of whom just graduated high school. They also share their home with 2 adopted mutts, Stella and Will. Their favorite activities include hiking different areas locally and around the country and spending time relaxing at the beach.
