It’s a win-win situation, your house will smell delicious and your dog will be extremely happy to clean up any mess that may fall on the floor.

Turkey & Oatmeal Dog Biscuits:

  • 1 cup of turkey broth

  • 1 ¾ cups of whole wheat flour

  2. In a bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients. Next, in a blender, pour the turkey and the broth in. Blend both ingredients together until it looks like baby food. Add the wet blended mixture to the dry ingredients and mix

  3. Lightly flour a surface on your counter and start kneading the dough. After that, you can roll the dough out and start cutting it into dog bone shapes or bite-sized balls, then place it on your cookie sheets.

  4. You will let these bake for about 25 minutes

As always, make sure that the treats are completely cooled off before letting your pup have one. These will be good for roughly six months if you freeze them, if not then they will probably last about 5 days in the refrigerator.

Sweet Potato Slices:

Ingredients Needed:

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes

  • 1tablespoon of Olive Oil

  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon

Prep & Cooking Instructions:Homemade Dog treats

  1. Preheat your oven to 257°F and line your baking sheet with parchment paper or grease.

  2. Wash and peel your sweet potatoes, then dry with a paper towel. You do not want to leave the skin of the potato on because it is hard for dogs to digest and could cause a blockage.

  3. Next, you will slice the potatoes anywhere from a ?-inch to a ¼-inch thick.

  4. Take all of your sliced potatoes and place them in a large bowl and add the olive oil and cinnamon. Toss the potatoes, making sure they are all coated in the oil and cinnamon.

  5. Start laying your coated potatoes on your baking sheet, make sure that there is space between each slice so they aren’t touching each other.

  6. You will bake these for anywhere between an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes. Cooking for an hour and a half will produce a softer treat. Where letting them cook a little longer will be a more crunchy treat.

As always, make sure that the treats are completely cooled off before letting your pup have one. These will be good for roughly six months if you freeze them, if not then they will probably last about 7 days in the refrigerator.
